bp Trinidad and Tobago (bpTT) has safely delivered first gas through connection of the initial discovery well at the Mento development, offshore Trinidad. The drilling campaign for the remaining seven gross wells on the platform will now begin, bp announced. Mento is a 50/50 joint venture between bpTT and EOG Resources, with EOG acting as operator.

BW Offshore has signed an agreement to acquire the FPSO Nganhurra, a purpose-built facility with production capacity of 100,000 bpd and storage capacity of 900,000 barrels. The acquisition is part of a strategy to offer timely and competitive redeployment solutions.
